Jase: What is this syrup made for?
Kimmi: It is a mint-flavoured herbal blend with echinacea, pelargonium, elderflower and ribwort, with age-based directions below.
Jase: Can it treat an ear or sinus infection?
Kimmi: No. It is not an antibiotic, and symptoms may need examination. Seek advice for ear pain or discharge, breathing trouble, dehydration, persistent fever, severe headache, stiff neck, symptoms that worsen, or a very unwell child.
Use adult supervision, measure doses accurately, and check for echinacea, daisy-family or other ingredient allergies. Do not combine children’s products without checking for overlapping ingredients.
Directions
Recommended Dosage: To support blocked noses and heavy sinuses, take the recommended dose by age group up to three times per day.
To support sinuses discharging mucus, take the recommended dose up to five times per day.

Infants 0-1 year: 0.5 ml (10 drops)

Children 1-2 years: 1 to 2 ml (1⁄4 metric teaspoon)

Children 2-5 years: 2 to 3 ml (1⁄2 metric teaspoon)

Children 5 years and over: 5 ml (1 metric teaspoon)
Syrup may be warmed a little to enable easier pouring or drawing dose into the syringe.

Base Ingredients
In a syrup base of chicory root fibre, vegetable glycerine, natural flavours, citric acid, and water.
Each 5 ml dose contains approximately 0.066gm of sugar per dose.
