Kimmi: The panel lists 500mg of berberine HCl, 125mg of an Origine 8 green-tea and phosphatidylcholine complex, and 25mcg of chromium.

Jase: Is every part of that complex clear?

Kimmi: No. One panel line combines “75mg,” “32mg” and “50mg” without clearly mapping each number, and it does not state whether the green-tea extract contributes caffeine. Check the current pack.

Product notes: Berberine can lower glucose and blood pressure and has many medicine interactions, including with diabetes and blood-pressure treatments, anticoagulants, ciclosporin and some antibiotics. Directions

Recommended Use: Take 1 capsule 2 to 3 times daily with meals or as recommended by your healthcare provider.

Indications: Supports healthy blood sugar, blood pressure, and blood lipid levels as well as overall health.

Allergen Advice: Contains no known allergens, no artificial flavours, preservatives or sugar.
