Jase: No. Vitamin C supports normal body functions but does not replace medical care or a balanced diet. The “every three hours” unwell direction can add up quickly, so follow the current label and do not exceed it.
Higher intakes may cause diarrhoea or stomach upset and may not suit people with kidney stones, kidney disease or iron-overload conditions. Ask a health professional before repeated high-dose use, during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or when giving it to a child.
Directions
Dosage:
- Adults: 10ml per day.
- Children 1-5 years: 1ml per day.
- Children 6-12 years: 5mls per day.
- Get well: If unwell, take the recommended dose every three hours daily.
- Stay well: Take the recommended dose once daily to maintain healthy immunity.
