Kimmi: How strong is one full tablet?

Jase: It supplies 1500mg vitamin C from sodium ascorbate, calcium ascorbate and ascorbic acid, plus hesperidin, rutin and 1mg zinc. Dissolve it in water—don’t swallow an effervescent tablet whole.

Kimmi: The dose changes by age?

Jase: Yes. Adults and teens from 14 use a full tablet in 250ml water, while ages nine to thirteen use half in 125ml. Follow the frequency limits below. More than 2000mg may cause loose bowels, and the full adult maximum listed is 3000mg daily. Check with a healthcare professional if you have kidney disease, kidney stones, iron-overload conditions, sodium or calcium restrictions, take medicines, or are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Directions

 Dosage: 

• Adults and teens from 14 years: Dissolve 1 effervescent tablet in 250ml of water, up to twice daily or as professionally advised.
• Acute dosage: For optimal results take 1 half tablet up to 2-4 times over the day to allow all-day support and optimal absorption.
• Children 9 – 13 years: Break 1 effervescent tablet in half and dissolve in 125ml of water, up to twice daily or as professionally advised.

Cautions & Contraindications:

• No added gluten, egg, crustacean, fish, dairy, soy, yeast or wheat
• High doses over 2000mg can result in loose bowels, caution in those with sensitive digestion.
