Jase: Is this mainly a vitamin formula?
Kimmi: It’s broader than that. It combines vitamin C, zinc and selenium with astragalus, ashwagandha, schisandra and three mushroom extracts.
Jase: What’s the intended use?
Kimmi: General daily wellbeing and normal immune support. It doesn’t treat illness, and the label cautions against using astragalus during the acute phase of illness.
Directions
Recommended intake:Adults take 1 – 2 capsules up to three times per day, with or without food. Best used 2-3 weeks after the acute stage of illness has passed to support a healthy recovery and long-term immune resilience.
Cautions:
- Astragalus is not recommended during the acute phase of illness, traditionally used to support recovery and immune resilience.
- Contains selenium which may be toxic in high doses, adults should not exceed 150 mcg daily.
- Contains zinc which may be harmful if taken in large amounts for long periods.
- Not suitable for children under the age of 2yrs.
- If pregnant, nursing or taking medications, consult a healthcare practitioner prior to use.
- Keep closed in dry place; avoid excessive heat.
- Do not use if safety seal is broken or missing.
