Jase: Kimmi, is this mainly for colour or nutrition?

Kimmi: It’s a freeze-dried blue spirulina extract used as a vivid food colour. The ingredient list states an average of 75% extract, with rice-hull extract as an anti-caking agent.

Jase: How much goes into food?

Kimmi: Up to 1 g—about one level teaspoon—or just a pinch for a lighter colour.

Important: Algae-product quality and contaminant testing matter. Ask a health professional before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding, with autoimmune, liver or phenylketonuria-related concerns, or with immune-suppressing or other medicines.

Vegan and gluten-free. The facility also processes soy, dairy, fish and tree nuts.

Directions

SUGGESTED USE: Add 1 g (approx. 1 level tsp.) of Morlife Blue Spirulina to water, juices, smoothies, yogurts, cereals, or any other foods.

For light blue shade, use just a pinch, and for a more brilliant blue, use up to the full teaspoon. Get creative!

CAUTIONS: Store resealed away from direct sunlight in a cool, dry place below 25°C. Packed in a facility that processes products containing soy, dairy, fish, and tree nuts.
