Jase: No. Suspected poisoning or overdose requires immediate advice from the National Poisons Centre or emergency services. Home charcoal capsules are not a substitute for urgent treatment and are unsuitable for many poisons.

Jase: Two capsules after meals with water when required. Each capsule contains 230 mg of activated charcoal.

Important: Charcoal can bind medicines, contraceptive pills and supplements and reduce their effect; separate doses only as advised by a pharmacist. Do not use with bowel obstruction, reduced consciousness or swallowing risk. Not for long-term use. It may darken stool, but black stool with pain, weakness or bleeding concerns needs medical assessment.

SUGGESTED USE: Adults — Take 2 capsules after meals with a glass of water when required, or as professionally recommended.

CAUTIONS: Not recommended for long-term use. Activated Charcoal may interact with some medications or supplements.
