Jase: What does the ginkgo panel show, Kimmi?
Kimmi: It lists an extract equivalent to 10,000mg of fresh ginkgo, providing 48mg flavone glycosides and 12mg terpene lactones.
Jase: So 10,000mg isn’t the physical capsule weight?
Kimmi: Correct. It’s the fresh-herb equivalent stated on the extract panel.
This is a ginkgo supplement, not a treatment for memory, concentration or circulation problems. Ginkgo can increase bleeding risk and interact with medicines, including anticoagulants and antiplatelet medicines. Follow the retained instruction to stop at least two weeks before surgery.
Suggested Use: Adults - Take 1 capsule daily with a meal or as professionally recommended. Discontinue use at least 2 weeks before surgery as Ginkgo may increase the risk of bleeding.
Cautions: Not to be taken by children, pregnant or lactating women. Seek professional health advice if suffering from a medical condition or taking medication (i.e. Anti-Coagulant) before supplementing. If any adverse reaction occurs discontinue use and consult a health professional.
