Jase: Why does it need a medicine check?
Kimmi: St John’s wort has many serious interactions. Do not combine it without professional approval with antidepressants or other serotonin-affecting products, hormonal contraception, anticoagulants, transplant, seizure, HIV or some cancer medicines. It may cause photosensitivity and is unsuitable with bipolar disorder, pregnancy or breastfeeding. The vegan tag conflicts with the label's non-vegan caution.
Directions
Adults: Take 1-2 capsules daily with food, or as professionally recommended.
Cautions:Do not exceed the recommended dose. Not to be taken by children, pregnant or lactating women.
