Kimmi: Jase, what do these strips measure?

Jase: They give a colour-based indication of salivary nitrite from a fingertip saliva sample. Each tube contains 25 strips.

Kimmi: Is that a medical nitric-oxide test?

Jase: No. It is an at-home indicator and cannot diagnose nitric-oxide deficiency, cardiovascular disease or any other condition.

Directions

1. In the morning before eating or drinking, wash your hands and collect saliva on your fingertip.
2. Place the saliva on the indicator strip pad. Do not put the strip in your mouth.
3. Compare the result with the supplied colour chart.

For tracking, use the strips under similar conditions and at a consistent time. Food, drink, oral hygiene and other factors may affect salivary nitrite results. Seek professional advice rather than making medical or medication decisions from a strip result.
