This is not a treatment for asthma, infection, sleep problems or breathing difficulty. Do not use its drowsy effect to sedate a child. Seek prompt care for blue lips, laboured breathing, unusual difficulty waking, poor feeding or dehydration.
The product is labelled from birth but contains ethanol, liquorice and a sedating herb. Liquorice can affect blood pressure and potassium, and Californian poppy may add to sedative medicines. Confirm suitability and the current dose with a pharmacist or child-health professional before giving it to an infant. Give only under close adult supervision.
