Kimmi: Yes. The older directions go as high as six tablets daily, which equals 3000mg of stated vitamin C. That is not a casual everyday dose—check the current label and get professional advice.
This chewable formula combines vitamin C from ascorbic acid and sodium ascorbate with echinacea. It is not intended to prevent or treat infections, wounds, acne, cold sores or other medical conditions.
Contains no: Wheat, gluten, yeast, milk or lactose, sulfur, artificial colour, artificial flavour or preservatives.
Directions
Adults and teenagers: The supplied directions state 1–3 tablets daily with food for general use.
The older page also states 2–6 tablets daily during “recovery.” Six tablets supply 3000mg of stated vitamin C. Do not use that higher amount without checking the current package and obtaining healthcare advice.
Cautions
- Contains glucose and sucrose. Account for this if managing diabetes or carbohydrate intake.
- Do not use if allergic to echinacea or plants in the daisy family.
- Seek professional advice before use if pregnant or breastfeeding, taking prescription medicine, managing an autoimmune condition, using immune-suppressing medicine, or if you have kidney disease, a history of kidney stones, or an iron-overload condition.
- Excess vitamin C may cause diarrhoea or other digestive upset.
