Kimmi: No. The formula includes ox bile and pancreatin, and the capsule contains gelatin. It also contains sulfites.
The blend includes betaine HCl, animal-derived digestive ingredients, papaya, pineapple bromelain and other enzymes. It is not suitable for people with sulfite sensitivity or allergies to papaya or pineapple. Betaine HCl may aggravate reflux, gastritis or ulcers, and bromelain or papain can interact with blood-thinning medicines. Persistent digestive symptoms need assessment rather than self-treatment.
