Citrus & Turmeric Immunity Shot

A zesty, anti-inflammatory powerhouse to support your immune system and brighten your day.

 Ingredients:

  • 1 orange, peeled

  • 1 lemon, peeled

  • 1 small knob of fresh ginger (about 2–3 cm)

  • 1 small knob of fresh turmeric (or ½ tsp turmeric powder)

  • 1 tsp M&H Manuka Honey (10+ UMF or similar)

  • A pinch of black pepper (to boost turmeric absorption)

  • Optional: a dash of cayenne pepper for extra kick

Method:

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender and blitz until smooth.

  2. Strain through a fine sieve if you prefer a smoother shot.

  3. Pour into a small glass or shot bottle.

  4. Take it straight or store in the fridge (good for 2–3 days).

 Why it works:

  • Citrus = high in vitamin C to support immune function

  • Turmeric & ginger = anti-inflammatory and warming

  • Manuka honey = soothing, antibacterial, and great for throat health

  • Black pepper = enhances the absorption of curcumin from turmeric
